If you’re looking for something just a bit out of the ordinary, stop in to McCormick Station, owned by June Focken and Carol McCormick.

June and Carol opened McCormick’s Station in October 2007. Although they’re not Glenwood natives, they’ve lived in the area since November 1992, when they were looking for an opportunity to get out of the city.

McCormick Station is a destination, a way to get away without going away. Their stores boasts a wide and varied array of gift items, kitchen items, greeting cards and seasonal items. On a recent stop into the store, there were amazing baskets and lots of spring-themed gifts.

The store is located at 24955 Ingrum Ave in Glenwood, IA. When you stop in, be sure to greet Hannah, one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet.
